Once you have taken care of your school tasks you can focus on your summer plans! Be sure to keep your health in mind when planning for your summer adventures.
Pack your travel bags with remedies to help you in case you get sick while on the road. Usually you can find quick relief with over-the counter medications. For those that prefer to keep things natural, there are also some natural remedies to help you feel better. Here are some suggestions:
Headaches, pains, fevers: Aspirin, or ginger root tea
Upset stomach: Imodium, or a handful of caraway seeds
Motion sickness: Dramamine, or peppermint candies or tea
For insect bites and skin irritations: Hydrocortisone, or aloe vera gel
If any of these conditions worsen, be sure to go to seek professional medical attention quickly.
